De Villiers Chocolate Café in Franschhoek offers DV’s very own CHOCOLATE, COFFEE and ICE CREAM all under one delicious roof. It is a world first in the sense that we make all of these ourselves using only authentic ingredients: “GOOD” in every way – GMO free, Gluten free, and free from any artificial colourants, flavourings or stabilisers.

Our Self Tutored Chocolate Tasting menu offers the opportunity to sample chocolates from any of our 3 collections:

Single Origin – for the dark chocolate lover
African Collection – mostly dark, flavoured chocolates, all made from Ugandan beans
Treats Collection – mostly flavoured milk chocolates, for the sweet tooth.

Enjoy our Drinking Chocolate as a warm drink or as a Mocha or Iced Chocolate.

Our Iced Chocolate and Iced Coffee Shots are made using our own unique recipe. Served in a short glass, this an intense drink with a smooth and creamy consistency.


Baked in our own kitchens, our selection of cakes, tarts and chocolate mousses are all gluten free.

For a special occasion, try our Chocolate Fondue. Perfect for sharing between two, you will be transported to chocolate heaven as you dip balls of ice cream, fresh fruits and berries, homemade biscotti and brandy snaps in a warm bowl of chocolate.
